How to Set Up the Imperative App in Slack
The Imperative integration for Slack allows users to easily access core information about their upcoming conversations on the Imperative Platform. With just a few clicks, users can see when their upcoming conversations are scheduled, what the conversation topic is, and access direct routes to make schedule changes – all from the comfort of the Slack interface.
Step 1: Locate the Imperative App for Slack
Click the “Add to Slack” button above OR find the Imperative app for Slack in the Slack App Directory, either on their website or directly in the Slack app. Once you’ve located the Imperative app for Slack, download it to access the ImperativeBot.
Step 2: Set Permissions to Allow Access & Installation
Depending on your Slack Workspace sttings, the Imperative app for Slack may require pre-approval by your Slack Workspace App Manager.
Step 3: Log In to Your Imperative Account
Link your Imperative account. Once downloaded, the ImperativeBot prompts Log In through through your Imperative account.
Step 4: Start Using Custom Imperative Commands
Your Imperative app for Slack is ready to go. See your upcoming conversations, explore and celebrate the progress of your community of peers, or visit your notes and current action from your most recent conversation.
/help
Use the /help command to see what features the ImperativeBot offers.
/schedule
